[ok, i have no earthly idea what KI00 land is, but those lovelies over at sci.lang.japan i'm sure will be able to tell me before long. i'm hoping it's some kind of amusement park... although knowing YOU, it's probably some kind of grocery store...

ok, turns out the zeros are 90s language for missing characters. so it would be something like KI-- LAND in english. current guesses have the place in question as Kiddy Land, a childrens store, which, as you can see at their website, does indeed seem to feature a giant daikon radish... the schedule says he'll be in kagoshima on the 22nd and 23rd, fujiyoshidashi on the 29th and 30th, and in kumamoto on august 19th and 20th... ... ...does anyone really care about that information meredeth? (-_-) ]
