[YOU's photo contest]
as promised, i have managed to bust out w/ a translation of the rules for YOU's fotocon. here they are, ladies and gents, and you'll all be pleased to know, the contest is open to international peoples. ...you might be sad to know that you are required to be a member of his BBS though... T_T
Contest Period
Entries must be postmarked between July 13, 2006 and August 12, 2006.
Winners will be announced August 22, 2006.
Conditions of Entry
Entry limited to BBS members.
Only one entry allowed per person.
How to Enter
Entries will only be accepted by post. Electronic submissions will not be considered.
Please submit your entry in the form of an L-sized photograph [L size is 3.5 by 5 inches]. Please send your entry, along with a piece of paper listing the information requested below, to:

So there we have it, boys and girls. otoko to onna. the fotocon rules. tomorrow's opening day, and remember, YOU said he's taking pictures made w/ anything from cell phones up through professional equipment, so get to it! the theme is そら which for those of you who don't speak japanese, [i'm assuming most of you] is pronounced 'sora' and usually means 'sky' although it can also mean 'look!' as in look out, look at me, etc, and the kanji usually used for sora can also mean 'empty.' YOU's said he'll take entries on all those themes. i think what i like best about this contest is the way it says, "we have prepared a lovely gift for the winner." specifically, a "suteki na purezento" which is literally a "delightful present." i think i want a delightful present from YOU... (¬.¬)
