YOU's photo contest

i'm sure you remember him blathering on about his new camera, and then setting up a photo contest? well, they finally managed to iron out the details, and they've got an announcement page up about it. you can read the actual rules here , but since you're here, i'm assuming you can't read japanese. so here's a brief summary:

entries need to be postmarked between July 13 2006 (Thu) and August 12 (Sat). send the entry, along w/ a slip of paper with the info requested below, to:

[i think. i've never mailed anything to japan before]

they want entries in "L-edition photograph size." i'm looking into how big that happens to be just at the moment, but english searches were no luck, so i'm having to search in japanese. it might be a few minutes.

there were of course, the usual caveats, don't look at each other's entries, limited to BBS members only, they won't be able to send back your entry, and suchlike. i'll work up a real translation here eventually, and maybe i'll get lucky and find out what L size is...

* turns out L size is 3.5 by 5 inches. and of course, as YOU said, the theme is "sora" go look it up @ Jim Breen's EDICT and GO FOR IT!
