Travel Diary (2009.1.13 15:16)

Thanks to everyone in Niigata and Kanazawa for the hot night. Really, that was a ho~t live for such a cold night. (^_^)

That was the first trip of the tour, and it's only with trouble that I would have carted my Mac along, so things were a little slow around here... My apologies. (^^;)

Actually, in Kanazawa I rode ahead by myself. To see Kenroku-en. (^_^)

I'd been on a plane since early morning, so I was too exhausted to take too many laandscape photos, but I spent about five hours wandering around Kenroku-en and Kanazawa Castle park, so when I finally made it back to the hotel, I passed right out. (^^;)

We had all kinds of food, chankare, 8 cups of ramen, white gyoza, etc... (T_T)

But from the company on the bus into Niigata,


I got this bowl of pork belly that looks like an alien house! (*joy*) First off, this is a new B-Class gourmet GET! (^_^)

Also, in Niigata, we had some delicious hegisoba.


Um... We're messy eaters. (^^;)

The soba we saved for after the live was great, too. You might say it's aborbed into the body with a slurp this way, and of course meals after all that movement are good.

The morning we got back from Niigata, the snow was piling up, and the world looked silver, so I was forced to remain quite local. (^_^)

Yeah, today too with work things, I came back with the thought that people could be charmed by the hair of the back of my head.

Aaah... Better drink some more sake... (^_^)

P.S. End-of-year 5 kg gain -> New Year's 5 kg loss -> Current trip 3 kg gain. (^^;) Man~ Trip flab. (bwhahah)

Everyone, thank you for the hot night yesterday again.

I was so exhausted I couldn't even appear at the launch. (^^;) I went home and went straight to bed.

Thanks to that, I've been up since early this morning. (^_^)

Mm? This really is an old man's lifestyle? (^^;) Yeah yeah, I'm usually a super nocturnal person you know. (^_^)

I went to great lenghts to have a hip bath again from the morning (^_^) and I went to get a massage, and I went to the acuputurists, I am heading into the live the day after tomorrow on strict maintenance. For dinner I'm having pork cutlets. (^_^)


So, not to change the subject, but,

I just happened to get into a conversation with the first day's MC about the passage of my own TV, so I bought the living room TV of my heart's desire.

Plus I put up the BS antenna for terrestrial digital broadcasting by myself. (^_^) Yeah, a consumer electronics otaku by nature. (^_^)


The quality of image on TVs has gotten really good recently. I absolutely can't go back to analogue any more.

The LCD and the plasma flat-panel TVs have gotten down to about 20~30 thousand yen per inch, so they're really affordable~. Man oh man it is a nice era to live in. (^_^)

Mm? Watching TV is a bad habit you say?

Well, isn't it okay though if you watch it every once in a while, when your friends come over? (^_^)

Next I'll need a blu-ray recorder... (bwahahah) The greedy days continue. (^_^)

Second Day!! (2009.1.6 08:46)

I completely winked out last night... (^^;) Thanks to being awake so early. (^_^)

Man oh man, even as long as I've been disciplining myself, two straight mornings is INTENSE... (*major (^^;)*)

I've been carefully hip-bathing since morning, and my whole body is a solid block of relaxation,

and also, today, I'm thinking I'd like to go back to the battlefield.


I'll have to drink a big gulp and get my fight ON~ (^_^) Of course, everyone's smiling faces are the best source of nutrients. (^_^)

Well then well then~ Let's make tonight another hot night.

At the end of last year, I got some beef for sukiyaki from a friend, and completely forgot about it. (^^;)

So today, it was gentle sukiyaki with a small number of people.


Man~ It's been a long time since I had sukiyaki. What a good year this is gonna be. (^_^)

Ene-tan came back for another play date~ (*joy*) He's asleep on my knee right now. (^_^)

Huu~ Again, a full stomach a full stomach. (^_^)

Last year was nothing but a gloomy basement lifestyle (^^;) but this year I'd like to flip the live and private times~

Really, I'm beyone busy, so I don't have any good feelings about this year...

Without thinking, I cried out, "Dad!!' (^_^)

And if you're thinking What the heck are you doing in this kind of place?? It's the Shibuya LABI right across from the SoftBank.

Yeah, it's New Year's Eve, but I'm a home telephone otaku, so my presence around the electric appliance store is required. (^_^)

So, my major cleanup still isn't done, (^^;) but today, without the annual tomfoolery (^_^) we're having a gentle New Year's Eve soba dinner with friends.


And if you're gonna do New Year's Eve pasta (^_^)
