I have at last discovered it. (^^;)


This volume, giving a conspicuous presence on the store shelves, truly overwhelms. (^_^) You can be assured that I love me my pudding. (^_^)

It's uncommonly large, so of course I was a little hesitant to buy it. (^^;)

I await the assault reports from everyone... (^_^)



[ donpurin is some kind of super-odd portmanteau of donburi, which is a rice bowl with food on top (or alternately, the porcelin bowl that this often comes in) and purin, which is japanese for pudding (or custard). ]

The Regular Meeting (2008.7.29 04:45)

Today I went to the usual gathering. I think I've written about it before,

but ever since we've become adults, become impossible, with various circumstances, to spontaneously have a simple little gathering, you know? I think most people, as their socializing at work increases, their private friends generally decrease.

Especially because I'm an indoorsman, it's a common occurance to say, 'Huh, I didn't see anyone this week,' if I even notice it. (^^;)

So we end up saying, it'd be nice to gather when everyone's able, and last year, we started a round of regular meetings every 1~2 months in our group.

And still, only four members could be there this time. (^^;) And three of those were musicians. (^_^)

Also, today was one of the friend's birthday, so


the obligatory cake (^_^) was prepared.

How many pieces of birthday cake have I had this month... Man~ a lot of my friends were born in July... (^_^)

This time was pretty late, with work, but as usual, we had plenty of chatting till dawn. (^_^)

Seems the pictures went up a couple days ago...


My face has gotten long with so many years... (bwahahah)

For human beings, they usually say that the expression on the left hand side is better, but that's why, the vast majority of people go for the face on the left-hand side,

but as for me, well, the right hand one, that feels kind of chilly, pleases me most. (^_^)

If you really think about it, you can't really see the whole of your own face... A mirror will give you left and right sides, and photographs aren't really accurate...

You can only understand the true faces of other people. Aah... SCARY... (^_^)

So, it'll be a change of subject, but yesterday seems to have been the day of the ox of midsummer, so I got an accidental post.

Of course, I went out to eat some eel at a restaurant, but with my summer heat fatigue status lately, I didn't have much confidence that I'd be able to finish it off and still be able to speak. (^^;)


Once again, it took the help of Seven. * (^_^) Thanks to the eel, even the summer heat fatigue got a little better.


If I can make a come back, I'll have to eat properly. (^_^)


P.S. People who were hit by the earthquake, are you all alright? We've had a string of nothing but major earthquakes lately, haven't we...

The summer heat's got me...


Soon, my body'll be limp and useless... (^^;) It is seriously HOT...

Man- it felt like there was at least a breeze blowing for this summer heat, and my appetite was full of gusto (^_^)

but there was a sudden heavy thud. (^^;)

At long last, I arrived at the peaches... (^_^)


Everyone please take care, okay? In this season, the direct rays of the sun are turly dangerous...


Aah... Yesterday I even ate an eel. (^_^)

It took forever... When I went out, I was carrying my camera, but truly, it never really rained. (^^;)


The rain yesterday I though would be the last chance... Even with the warnings, I went out, and I had the perfect shot, but when I set out, the rain was moving on, and it stopped. (*major ^^;*)

Waaaa... It's over... (T_T)

Um... Does someone have a spray bottle... (bwahahah)

Well, honestly, I don't use it that much, but... (big ^^;) It was the kind of feeling where I wanted to have it on hand since it was convenient to have around. (^_^) Incidentally, it pulls 1000 yen on amazon. (^_^)

I felt like, if you can get CS3 by all means!! but I figured I'd only be using it to process images, so I held back. Of course if I don't take any photos...

At present, Lightroom is more than enough. I recommend it.

Lately, my brains have been completely occupied with music, but day by day, the photography craving only increases... Ugh~ Patience patience. (^_^)

Well, my wanderlust or my photo craving are delicate subjects, but (^_^) I've been sorely tempted every summer since long ago. (^_^) In my student days, I spent one summer biking to Hokkaido. Aah... Someday I want to feel the wind on the northern island again... (*delusions*)

However, it really will not rain~ ... It was a serious concern. (big ^^;) Not taking photos is painful...

So to change the subject, again, the promised convenience store...


I got a Baumkuchen (^_^) Roll cake is good, baumkuchen is good, in this method of exploitating this stock, it completely makes me a sitting duck. (^_^)

I'd better set aside the remains of the enjoyment. (^_^)

Yesterday, I said I'd hold back on sweet things, and today, I went straight for the peaches. (^^;)


Everyone, this year's peaches are a success. (^_^) The cherries were really sweet and delicious, but peaches are the best.

Man~ this year is a lucky year for fruit. (*joy*)

And the temptations continued...


Ta-dah!! Ohagi. (^_^) Seems to me that O-Bon has come to Tokyo.

If it were a normal situation, I'd completely lick 'em up in an instant, but of course, today, I could only have a piece. (^_^)

Yeah... I was full from the peaches... (^_^)

P.S. 'Rain' ... In the end, a spray bottle, or maybe a water botte... Let's spend the whole last week praying for rain... (^_^)
