[493] Bleeding Big Service (^_^) - 2007/10/29 (Mon)

Well- with all the business lately, some of my updates were late, and I can't write anything very satisfactory, but please pardon this entry, Bleeding Big Service. (^_^)

I went to the photographing of Chimaera's new brand, 'Houshou,' and took one of my meeting with 'The President.' (^_^)

The 'Houshou' HP gives a new sense to Japanese style, it's pretty stylish. The accessories have an original motif, too.

The concept is hot stuff these days, for me, at least. I've posted a link, so please take a look. Things'll get, hot! (^_^)

Incidentally, I got into a camera lecture with the camera man this time, too. It was quite an uprush of maniacal talk, and again, those around us were attracted. (^_^)

Well then well then, let's all give it our best this week, too.

[ ok, also i'm a little dense lately (i'm going to claim NaNo and pray you guys believe it. (^^') ). the theme this time is yuuyake (夕焼け) which they have translated in the contest banner as "Evening Glow." yuuyake is basically sunset, used as opposed to yoake (夜明け) which means 'daybreak' and literally means 'evening burning.' so git them cameras out an' start a'snappin' sum shots~ (^_^) ]

First off, I was able to reinstall the OS again, and now it's just a matter of going through the setup again.

Well, it's not my main machine that I use for work, so at least that's a good thing. Man~ that's horrible just to think about... I'm going out to buy a HD for backup purposes right now.

However, when you measure the data, it'd take years to upload. 250 gigs would be instantly filled up. I thought, How many years have I taken filling it up?

I've probably got something like 1 terabyte of data in my house altogether, and just thinking about the preparations for the preparations is overwhelming...

Someone, please, invent an unbreakable hard disk. (^_^)

[490] The Japanese Language - 2007/10/22 (Mon)

is interesting, isn't it. All the abbreviations and the regional peculiarities in how to form abbreviations.

Not just dialects, but also the words used just among a tiny group of friends.

For instance, with my friends from my home town, we say 'ushiru' when we want to go to Yoshigyuu. (^_^) Yeah, too late, nouns are verbs. (^^;) Afterwards, we say we 'hit the cow.'

Yeah well, in Kansai-ben, the famous dialect, 'Shall we hit the tea?' isn't simply the act of drinking tea, it's got a stronger nuance than saying, 'Would you like to take a break and drink some tea?' **

Another peculiarity of the dialect is 'hokkori.' It's hard to explain the extreme nuance of this word, but maybe it's like the feeling you get when the business pauses and you heave a sigh, like, ho-? What level English word is that, huh? (^_^)

These days, Kansai-ben has become major, and even in Tokyo it's not out of place and you can communicate with it, but twenty years ago, you couldn't communicate even an 'ookini. *** Well, 'dontsuki' still gets you a look like, '?' but... (^_^) ****

Course, you couldn't communicate with 'ageru, kudaru' in Kyoto, either. *****

How many years has it been since I came to the capital, and I still unconsciously use Kansai-ben, but the nuances of Kansai-ben are quite difficult to explain.

Incidentally, I've been having both Morning and Evening 'McDo's.' (^_^)

Well, I do sit down for work all day, and munch on sweets and stuff. (^_^) Not strange, huh... With my sleeping hours shaved down. (bwahahah)

So then, I'll drink some Yunker and go back at it~

Man oh man, everyone, thank you for the many presents.

Once again, they're all over the house in a decidedly dreadful manner. If it keeps up like this, I'll have to open a store. (^_^)

Ah- please stick the stickers in a really comspicuous place. Seriously, don't just leave them in your drawer. (^_^)

Things like that upped the pressure for the dance, (^^;) and when the event was finished, the fatigue came all at once. I wandered around in a daze all day... just like always? (^_^)

I think plenty of people had their physical condition ruined by the three day weekend, but please take care of your body and don't do anything unreasonable.

[483] With the Chimaera President (^_^) - 2007/10/07 (Sun)

Truly, he worked hard this year. (^_^)

Man~ I guess I should make some comment on my dancing, huh. (^_^)

Seriously pitiful, even for me... (^_^)

However, today was absurdly amazing. With no trace of entry level dancers, and Shamo's live was hot, and something called K DUB SHINE, man- we were secretly touched by the dance gods. (bwahahah)

I hadn't heard much Japanese language rap until now, but at today's live, it was stuck deep in my chest YO (^_^)

Things I want to express, things I should do, and also things I continue to do, resounded hard in the depths of my soul. Of course, the power of 'words' is great.

It made me think, I can contribute something to the world, I've got to do something to change the world, I've got to do something!!

This time, over the year of this event, I've truly learned a lot. For now, the finals are over, it was fun to be able to meet everyone and be in a world different from the ordinary shapes of things.

Well then well then, to the staff that has participated thus far, our guests, and the entry dancers, and also to everyone who came to see, truly thank you very much!!! And also, truly good job.

P.S. Man oh man, I wanted a drink and a sigh of relief, but I've got an early day tomorrow, too. Today, I obediantly go to bed... Everyone please go drink until morning~ (^_^)

It's a little early, but Halloween is coming soon.

Um... I'm still not over my cold, and I finally blew my fuse. (^^;)

Colds seem to like busy places, so everyone ends up with the same symptoms. (^_^) A lot of people I know are suffereing, too.

Well, I guess I could just do the performace with a fever, but I'm not enthused about that kind of thing. With a shot of fighting spirit maybe. (^_^)

Besides that, my body wants about three things right now. (^_^) Even if I stopped sleeping, I wouldn't have enough time...

They talk about the long nights of autumn, but they are not at all long. (^_^)
