It seems to be a Golden Week for the general public this week. I didn't even notice until just today... (^^;)

Today I went to take some pictures at my friend's car dealer. For a long time, my friend's been saying, 'I wanna make a homepage~' so I some quick clicks.

They're just photos like for a car magazine, so they're not that interesting, but the last one I took was like this. (^_^)

It turns out to have been my friend's virgin SLR experience, and he was like, 'These are incredible photographs...' Completely brainwashed. (^_^)

Just like that, I've enlisted another person into the Camera Friends reserve army. (^_^)

At any rate, Golden Week, nice... I haven't been about to go out and take photos at all recently, so I've been wanting to go out anywhere and take photos for a whole day...

My cell's broken, so when I went to buy a new one, I hadn't noticed, but hasn't the price of cell phones has skyrocketed?

Before, it was cheap enough that I could afford to change phones every year, but now, it seems the system has changed.

The system's changed so dizzyingly, I'm worried about it's future...

Soon, no one will be able to buy one... Although even if it were 100,000 yen for one phone, I can't manage to be without one... (*angry*) *

Speaking of, aren't those newest phones easily broken? In the old analogue era (bwahahah) you could drop them, step on them, those things seemed simply unbreakable...

Ah, but on the other hand, it was an enormous charge for a telephone call. (^^;) Plus, one phone was about 100,000 yen. (^^;)

Man~ This is a nice era we live in. (^_^)

Incidentally, this time, I didn't go with 1SEG. ** (^^;) I don't really use anything but calling and emailing. (^_^) **

[612] The Water Connection... - 2008/04/23 (Wed)

A water cooler is dangerous. Gulping down cold water is so easy, and you use it for cooking, and then in one instant, your water consumption is up.

Aaa... Water seems to live in a beautiful place...

Well, if you buy the central water purification system, the story's over, but still. (^^;) It's expensive. (About 200,000 yen~ ) *

House-wide water service gives you completely clean water, so the expense can't be helped I guess. The bath water is filtered, too, so it calls out to me a little. (^_^)

That even the toilet water is filtered makes me laugh, but. (^_^)

Man-- how bourgeois, huh. (^_^)

P.S. Even though I didn't get much sleep yesterday, I was bright-eyed, and I wasn't very sleepy at all. Even today, I didn't sleep any more than usual, and I'm some kind of healthy...

Perhaps, this is the Spirit power...? Yeah... If I go again some day...

[611] The talk of the town... - 2008/04/22 (Tue)

I went to see the zero magnetic field. Earlier riser. (^_^)

It seems to be some kind of world-leading amazing power spot.

It's called a Spirit, and of course it's not visible, so people feel differently about it. * Of course whether I believe it or not...

Actually, there's spring water here, too, and that's why people come and people come, dipping in their water bottles and plastic jugs.

Lots of people carry water out with them, so I tried at least wetting my hands.

Then, mysteriously, my hands got nice and smooth! (^_^) And it continued for several tens of minutes, this silky smooth feeling. (*shock*)

Then, my interest piqued, I tried taking a drink of the water. Things like that, you know... you can't say much for the taste. (^_^) Well, it's spring water, so it really is natural mineral water, but this water, well, it would be delicious to make sake with... (^_^) That's what the flavor made me think anyway.

Feel it or not, believe it or not, this drink did have real worth. (^_^)

So, when I went to climb down the mountain, I noticed that I was hacking up a lung, but when I thought about it, I hadn't been coughing on the way up...

Man~ There are still some mysteries left in this world, you know.

That water, I should have gotten some to take home with me. (^_^)

[610] Grotesque - 2008/04/21 (Mon)

Last night, there was a meat meet for the first time in a long time, and when I went to lay in my stock of beef,

it turns out that colds are wildly popular around here...

Well, I myself have one, but still. (^^;)

Eventually, my homor decreased by about half, but I had a large quantity of meat...

However, honestly, the smell of the lard with yakiniku is really incredible, isn't it? Even if it is just for a short time, the floor is all slippery, and the room is filled with the smell of spreading disease. (^^;)

Man-- For a while, I should live with the smell of a butcher, huh. (^_^)

Ah, there's meat left, I'd better go eat it... (^^;)

[609] Unagi~ - 2008/04/18 (Fri)

I really can't escape my physical condition can I...

Probably like saying 'That's enough rain!!' (*angry*)

Today's like some kind of typhoon. Well, thinking of one-shot nutritional supplements, I ate 'UNAGI,' the promised stamina supply. (^_^)

Actually, there was a special sale. (^_^)

However, I get a little frazzled when I'm hungry, don't you? (^^;) I ate more than usual, about a 20% increase... In order to repair my physical health, it can't be helped. (^_^)

I'm aiming for a complete recovery by next week!!

[608] Oh oh oh - 2008/04/17 (Thu)

Another sleeping posture post. (^_^)

I've told you the story of when I was about to lose my foot, right? That was a truly scary story. (^_^)

I was in the hospital about two weeks that time, but the days passed, and the nurse was there to look at, so somehow everyone got a wry smile about it.

I didn't think there was anything about it to smile wryly at, so it seemed a mystery to me

when the day nurse who was there, suddenly says to me, 'Will you please stop that already~'

I was in the hospital and couldn't walk, and I was constantly in a wheelchair, but I had so much free time every day that I played around and learned to to wheelies in my wheelchair. (^_^)

I thought for sure that's what she much have been calling me out on, and I started to apologize...

'I think about it all the time, when I'm setting up your futon at night! Really seriously, your sleeping posture is terrible!' She cut right to the heart of the matter. (^^;)

Thereafter, when she was on patrol, I tried to lay straight on my futon constantly... (^^;) Seemed like each time, she was there to set up the futon...



... I kind of feel sorry for anyone who has to sleep with my... (bwahahah)

At first, I set up the futon perfectly, but eventually my self-confidence was neglected!! (^_^) *

Well... Setting the jokes aside. (^_^) Slowly the night turns to dawn and I should be getting to bed... GOOD NIGHT...

Man, it has reached my throat. It squeezed my voice and chipped away at it, and now it's barely there. (bwahahah)

Mysteriously, even with this fever, my appetite hasn't weakened. (^^;) I think it'll cure me more quickly, so I always eat more than usual. (^_^)

Everyone please properly cover up when you go to bed. (^_^)

As for me, my work is piling up, so I'm going to go for the Mamushi power...! *

As expected, this is the effect of last week's jet-lag-induced lack of sleep. Just when I thought I finally got to sleep, I woke back up hacking. (^_^)

Man, how many times have I taken my medicine, and I took some more, but still.

Everyone please be careful.

As for me, well... maybe I have a bad sleeping posture. (bwahahah) But when I wake up every day, my covers are gone... (^^;) It's winter! I'll catch my death of cold! (^_^)

In just a little period, it completely changes... What's with that??

I don't have any control while I'm unconcious. (^_^)

Anybody know how to cure one's sleeping posture?

[605] Brown Rice Diet - 2008/04/14 (Mon)

Even with jet-lag, it feels good to settle back into my nocturnal lifestyle. (^_^) Returning also are the scars it leaves on my body. (^_^)

Before we went to France, I was all kerfluffle, and wasn't in control of any proper eating habits, and over there, I had nothing but bread... Extremely fat. (^^;)

My back and my head are quiet, so training camp will be reopening, and I will endevour to repel my flab for another couple of days. (^_^)

Of course, even my eating habits have been reduced to the Brown Rice Pact. The Brown Rice Diet has gotten a bad rep with those around me one way or another, but this one, well, even I thought it was intense at first. (^_^) After you get used to eating it, though, white rice become mysteriously unsatisfying.

It's good for the body, so everyone should please give it a try. The fangirls might find it easier to eat at first. *

Ah, when I tell a food story, I'm suddenly hungry... (^_^)

P.S. As you might expect, Japan is a big car country. Car posts are inexhaustible. (^_^) Definitely take care and drive carefully.

[604] Paris Parking Conditions (^_^) - 2008/04/12 (Sat)

Eh, well... Can I really show this? (^_^)

People over there must think, 'Did I hit the bumber?'

and then knock the car on purpose, and then use the gap for parking. Parallel parking feels exactly like that, and it's limited.

Um... Even with some kind of luxury car, can I still hit it? (^_^) If there's a bunch of Benz around, I'll feel a little akward. (^^;)

Nevertheless, the number of compact cars within the city of Paris surprised me. Peugot, Citroen, Renault, Mini, Smart... etc It's a narrow city, so I think small cars are resonable, but it fits the city of Paris especially, since it's such a fashionable place.

The fuel consuption on compact cars in good, and it doesn't take up much space, so it's very economical for a lot of people in the world.

I've decided the next car I buy will be a hybrid, but the black car in the photograph is a Smart car, I could waste some money on. A two-seater is absurdly cute for a car. (^_^)

Even the morning was premature... Why... (^_^)

Yeah, I did get some proper rest, but... Actually, I had to borrow something before I went home. (^_^)

Ah, the pain is consistently softening. My back, well, it's not that serious, yeah... (bwahahah)

Of course that didn't happen until the check up. (^_^) I can't help being extremely sleepy, but... (^_^)

[602] My wish got through! (^_^) - 2008/04/11 (Fri)

Today I just about felt good with that nice weather. Gradually, I felt the warm sunrays of warm summer.

So, I left straight off for some maintenance. (^_^) Since I've been in pain until today, I've been back and forth to every masseur, acupuncturist, chiropractor, and therapist in this city, but actually this is the best place for me.

I haven't been downtown in a while, and I feel bad if I don't go at least once a year, but the chiropractor has been a great help to me for a number of years now.

That doctor, you know, he's kind of famous in the local area, but really he is amazing. The pain is completely gone, like magic.

Except, you know, the intense pain following surgery, so if you don't obey your bed rest orders that day and the day after, you're in trouble. Anyway, inevitably, I can't go without a stop over at his place.

That's why I have to go at least once a year.

This time, my back's been out of joint since the end of last year, but I've had quite the schedule, so finally I was able to go. (^_^) MAN, you really can't get in without an appointment... (^^;)

So I'll just have to hold it for a while, it seems. Ah, right now? ... I'm completely groggy on a hotel bed. (^^;)

Finally, my jet-lag has been cured, huh. (bwahahah)

[601] Jet-lag~ - 2008/04/10 (Thu)

Man~ ... I am completely jet lagged. (^^;) I'll sleep during the night and wake up straight away, but from about noon onward I'll be totally drowsy,

although this is completely standard... (*a waterfall of tears*)

Well, I'm nocturnal by nature, so sleeping in the morning is normal for me, but if I keep waking up like this, I won't be able to help sleeping until noon. On the other hand, even after a sleep like that, I can't go out, and this week, I'll go for it and wake up. I think I'd like to try the whole Being Awake in the Morning thing. (^_^)

Incidentally, I haven't slept in the one day and two hours since I've been back. (bwahahah) Yeah, with one thing or another, my head'll be hurting for a week. (^_^)

As usual, my recovery is slow and unsteady, of course...

People with jet-lag, let's firmly do some personal maintenance this weekend. I've got plans to go out for some lower back maintenance in a minute here.

I have safely returned.

The final day, we went once more to the Louvre, and after that, we went to a cafe on a Paris corner, and drank the usual amount. (^_^)

Truly, bread and cheese and wine are delicious, and I've gained 5 kilos in just this short while. *

We didn't go anywhere. (^^;) Today was all rehearsal.

Except, we did go out for lunch. As for the coffe over here, the standard is espresso. It's delicious, but it's not a great amount, so I can drink about three of the cups in an instant, like glug glug. (^_^)

Seriously, though, goods over here are expensive... Lunch was 30 Euros, about 5000 Japanese yen... Frankly, intense. (^_^)

So, tomorrow is finally the yashoukai. I shall not be defeated by jet-lag!!

I abruptly came face to face with the Mona Lisa.

Truly, this place is amazing. Huge works of art, quantity and quality, I was completely overwhelmed.

If I had more time, I could appreciate them at a leisurly pace, but for myself, it's a place I've always wanted to visit, so I'm pretty satisfied just saying I stepped foot inside. (^_^)

Well, thanks to jet lag, my brain isn't moving too well, but still. (^_^)

Later, if I could get to Versailles Palace, or the Eiffel Tower, or the Arc de Triomphe, that would be great...

I can do it, if I wake up early!

distant Eiffel Tower. (^^;) Man, luckily we passed nearby on our way.

I had a free hour, so I went for a stroll around the neighborhood, but right as I was getting to the gates of the Louvre Museam my time was out. (^^;)

Aaa... I just wanted to step inside for a minute...

But I'll regroup, and keep my eyes peeled for another break (^_^) and head out for another stroll! Seriously, the wonderful buildings around here speak volumes about the importance of history. Just walking around makes me a little giddy.

Incidentally, jet-lag is going strong. I seriously cannot move my head. (^^;) And if I don't get some sleep here soon...

I have arrived safely.

It's early morning over here. I was thinking about wandering the neighborhood straight away, but I'm afraid it's raining. (T_T)

Man-- It's not like my speech has ever been perfect, rather, it's a refreshing departure from the norm (^_^) but not being able to read or write or listen or talk...

This is my one chance to spread the Japanese language! (^_^)

[594] Finally - 2008/04/01 (Tue)

The time has come for a trip to France.

I couldn't find my passport, and for a while there I was in a panic. (^^;)

I soon had the entire house turned upside down, and finally I found it inside my bureau. (^_^)

Aaah... THANK GOD... It's not that long until we have to go... (^^;)

I still have memories of the last time I went to France, how really moved I was at how incredibly beautiful the towns were. I thought definitely one day I'd go there privately, but time flowed on, and I'm going for work again this time. (bwahahah)

Well... If I get the chance to take a stroll (^_^) I'll transcribe the beauty of the city of Paris. (^_^)
